Microsoft’s Your Phone app will soon have a status indicator for when your smartphone is connected to your Windows 10 PC. The Your Phone app runs into issues when trying to connect for some people, so having a clear indicator for if the device is connected will be a welcome addition.
The indicator was shown off in a couple of tweets by Aggiornamenti Lumia on Twitter.
Right now, the Your Phone app on Windows 10 shows an image of your device. The app can show a warning status along the top if it fails to connect to your device, but the Connected/Connecting indicator helps make it clear that the app is trying to connect or has successfully connected to your PC.
The connection indicator could take some time to roll out to a public version of Your Phone. Aggiornamenti Lumia spotted the ability to change your smartphone’s settings through the Your Phone app last month, but that feature hasn’t appeared yet on the public version of the app. We’ll have to wait to see when these new features work their way to more people.

This resulted in quite the lonely Telegram messaging experience, but all that’s about to change thanks to Facebook.
