Redmi Note 9T has launched as one of Xiaomi’s newest additions to its burgeoning collection. This release comes after leaks revealed a number of specs about the Redmi Note 9T last week. The smartphone features triple rear cameras and has the latest MIUI 12. It looks like a rebrand of the Redmi Note 9 5G which launched in November and brings the MediaTek Dimensity 800U under the hood.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T launched with the Android 10 OS with MIUI 12 on top and is built around a 6.53-inch HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a hole-punch design. This smartphone has the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U under the hood, which is hooked to 4GB RAM and offers 64/128GB storage options (expandable via microSD to 256GB).
In the camera department, a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP snapper is assisted by a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter, conveniently taking care of photography needs. Up front, a 13MP sensor takes care of selfies and video calls.
The Redmi Note 9T boasts a 5,000mAh battery which offers 18W fast charging support, keeping this device powered all day. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T launched with two color options in the Daybreak Purple and Nightfall Black colors, with this device expected to go on sale in Europe from today. It has two storage variants which are available at different price points, with the 4GB+64GB model costing €229, while the 4GB+128GB sells for €269.
