What Version of Microsoft 365 Am I Using? – Technipages

Office 365 is not working the way it should be, so you look for some tutorials to help fix your problem for the version you have. But, if you don’t know what version of Office 365 you’re using, the problem won’t be going away any time soon. By not knowing what version you have, you could also be adding plugins that aren’t going to work. Let’s see how you can get which version you have?

How to Check Microsoft 365 Version

To access your Microsoft 365 information and see what version you have, open any program Microsoft 365 has. For example, you can open Excel, Click on the File tab, and at the bottom, click on the Account option.

If you have a subscription to an annual program, it’ll just say Microsoft 365 under Subscription Product. If you don’t have a subscription, you should see a build number instead. If you’re trying to fix a problem you’re having with Microsoft 365; you’re going to need the build number. You can get that in the About Excel option.

Check Microsoft 365 Version on Android

Checking which Microsoft 365 version you have on any Android device is easy. Just like in the desktop version, open any program and tap on your profile picture. Go to Settings (located at the bottom) and once you’re in Settings, swipe all the way down. That’s where you’ll find the version of Microsoft 365 you’re running.

If you’ve followed by steps above and you still don’t see the version number, try clicking on the Help option, followed by About. The version number should be there.

Conclusion

Knowing what version of Microsoft 365 you have allows you to know if instructions you come across online apply to you or not. Did you see what version you have?
