The Halo 4 PC test flight has been extended to November 6

Halo Community Manager John Junyszek has confirmed on Twitter that the Halo 4 test flight on PC is being extended until November 6, 2020 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. If you were bummed that you were going to have to stop playtesting the game on PC soon, this news is sure to brighten your sprits.

Additionally, Halo: Reach’s Firefight and Multiplayer modes have also been added to the flight’s Crossplay content. This means that you, as a PC player, can now play Halo: Reach with people who are using the Xbox version of the Master Chief Collection (MCC) and vice versa. If 343 Industries is able to perfect it, Crossplay will be huge for the future of the MCC, so make sure you help them test it out if you’re a Halo Insider in the flight.

If you haven’t signed up for the Halo Insider Program yet, we highly recommend that you do. You’ll most likely be able to participate in testing out future Halo 4 flights, and the process of signing up is both easy and free. Therefore, there’s really no reason not to sign up. After all, why not help test out the MCC on PC while waiting for Halo Infinite?

Halo 4 is expected to cost $10 when it releases on Steam and the Windows 10 Store. If you don’t have any of the games on the MCC and want to get them all, you can do so for the excellent price of $40. The full MCC is available on Xbox as well if you prefer console.
