Of course there are a ton of Amazon devices on sale on Black Friday. We expect that. We’d be disappointed if there wasn’t. But Prime Day was just last month, so what are the real deals here? Well, I’d say the real deals would be Amazon’s newest devices like the Eero 6 and the Eero Pro 6 mesh Wi-Fi systems. Mostly because these systems weren’t on sale for Prime Day because they weren’t even out yet.
Today, and through the end of the week, you can get the basic Eero 6 bundled with a 3rd-gen Amazon Echo Dot and two Philips Hue smart bulbs on sale for $269.22. It may jump as high as $360 when the Black Friday savings end. You can get it by itself without the extras for $223, which is down from its regular price of $273.
However, the Eero 6 is only capable of supporting Wi-Fi up to 500 Mbps. If you have Gigabit Ethernet or fiber optics like I do, you’ll want something that can handle much faster speeds. For that, get the Eero Pro 6 system. It’s on sale for $479, which is $120 off what it’s going to sell for when Black Friday has run its course. You can even get it bundled with a Fire TV Cube for just $558.99. Considering both devices together would cost close to $720 regularly, that’s a great package price. The Pro can handle Gigabit speeds, and that makes it worth the investment.
The Eero Pro 6 can cover up to 6,000 square feet in beautiful, consistent Wi-Fi. You won’t have any more dead spots, buffering, or rooms you just sort of avoid because your phone doesn’t work too good in there. The TrueMesh tech is smart enough to route traffic the right way. You’ll be streaming 4K video, playing games, and more with little interuption. The Pro also has a built-in Zigbee smart home hub, which is helpful for controlling those compatible devices that might not be compatible with just basic Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
Both Eero devices are also really easy to set up. The Eero app will actually walk you through everything you need to do. It also makes managing your network super easy. Plus you’ll also get access to customer support any day of the week. Get automatic updates for your system so that it keeps getting better and smarter, and you can always expand the Eero with single add-on devices as you need.
