Samsung has begun to roll out updates for two of its devices in the Galaxy A31 and Samsung Galaxy M51. Both smartphones will receive the One UI 2.5 update complete with the November 2020 security patch and all of the latest security features the update has to offer.
This update for the M51 is rolling out in Iraq, Egypt, Iraq, Russia, and Ukraine, while the one for the Galaxy A31 is presently limited to devices in South Korea. Reports from SamMobile tell us that the Samsung Galaxy M51 carries the firmware version M515FXXU1BTK4, while the A31 carries the firmware version A315NKSU1BTK2.
This update includes Bitmoji support, an improved keyboard setting and Google navigational gestures related to third party apps. It also brings the regular One UI 2.5 update for both devices.
Users can get this update when they tap on the notification once it pops up on their smartphone. If it doesn’t, they can simply go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Currently, the South Korean firm is testing the Android 11-based One UI 3.0, with no set timeline when this update will get to devices around the world. For now, it will continue providing the One UI 2.5 update with the latest security patch to its devices.
