Capcom has shared its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2021. With this financial report comes updated figures for some of Capcom’s recent major titles. According to these results, Resident Evil 3 has sold over 3.6 million copies. Meanwhile, the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion has sold over 7.2 million copies.
Resident Evil 3 was last reported to have sold 3 million copies as of Capcom’s Q2 results in October 2020, meaning another six hundred thousand were sold since then. Capcom also achieved the highest profits for the end of a third quarter in the company’s history. Monster Hunter World remains Capcom’s best-selling game of all time, with over 16 million copies sold.
Capcom has two more big games scheduled to arrive later in 2021, as Monster Hunter Rise releases on March 26, while Resident Evil Village is coming on May 7, 2021. When it arrives, it’ll be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, PS4 and PS5. There’s also a wide variety of different Resident Evil Village editions available for preorder.
