Xiaomi looks set to add another smartphone to the increasing portfolio of Redmi Note 9 smartphones, as a number of teasers have given us a sneak peek into what the Redmi Note 9T will look like and what specs it may wield. This smartphone, which looks like a rebrand of the Redmi Note 9 5G was recently benchmarked, all but confirming that we will see it soon, as certain reports suggest a January 8th release date.
The Redmi Note 9T is expected to feature three rear cameras, with a 48MP camera purportedly headlining this setup. It may be assisted by a secondary 8MP camera and a tertiary 2MP camera. Up front, a number of tips have suggested that we may see a 13MP sensor in a hole-punch display.
The Redmi Note 9T is also expected to feature a 6.53” FHD+ hole-punch display with a powerful 5,000mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC under the hood. The prices of this smartphone have also been leaked, with the base 4GB/64GB model expected to sell for €229.90 and the 4GB/128GB model expected to cost €269.90 in Europe.
A 90Hz display has also been tipped, with this device expected to run the Android 10 with MIUI 12 on top.
