In a press release today the company stated:

MSI, a world leader in gaming hardware and innovative business solutions, introduces its most powerful esports gaming monitor yet, the MAG274QRF-QD. Featuring Quantum Dot technology, a first for MSI, the monitor is capable of reproducing the most accurate, lifelike images with over one billion colors. MSI also unveiled its MAG MT81-XX VESA-compatible monitor mounts with full-motion and height adjustability, user friendly installation and cable management system.

The new monitor features a WQHD resolution of 2560×1440 and Quantum Dot technology, as well as HDR for color and contrast accuracy on its 27-inch display.

Thanks to its Rapid IPS panel it has a response time of 1ms, and built-in NVIDIA G-Sync compatible technology for a 165Hz refresh rate.

It also features MSI’s Gaming OSD App 2.0 for customization through a software window, allowing you to adjust presets and settings, as well as create in-game hotkeys to adjust your display settings. The adjustable stand has a wide range of motion for tilting, height adjustment, swiveling, and pivoting.

The new monitor is priced at around $450, although it’s actually available already for a little bit less than that.

Newegg is selling the new monitor for $434, whilst B&H as well as Adorama have it available for just $420. However, these latter options are on backorder and not available immediately.
