Motorola introduces two of its latest mid-range Smartphone in the market, they are Moto G30 with a 6.5-inch HD+ 90Hz refresh rate screen and Snapdragon 662 SoC and Moto G10 with a 6.5-inch HD+ screen and Snapdragon 460 chipset.
Both devices are just simple handsets and fortunately, they are slightly expensive. Where the Moto G10 starts at €150 (US $181), and the Moto G30 starts at €180 (US $218). These phones will go on sale in Europe before the end of this month.
To be precise, Motorola promises that another Moto G10 will launch in India with 6000mAh battery that will charge at 15W, this will be bigger and larger than the Europe’s G10 with 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.
But the Moto G30 packs the same 5,000mAh battery capacity but a slightly advanced 15W charging with 20W inbox TurboPower charger. Both device have plastic bodies with a water-repellent design – IP52 rating that provides dust proof.
These handsets also comes with rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and bottom-ported speaker. It also supports NFC, FM, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS + GLONASS.
On the front of the G30 is a 6.5-inch HD+ MaxVision 20:9 aspect ratio display with 90Hz refresh rate and supports 720 pixels screen resolution. It measures 165.22 x 75.73 x 9.14mm dimensions and weighs 197g.
The Moto G30 comes in Dark Pearl and Pastel Sky colors options, and living inside the notch of the display is a 32-megapixels with f/2.2 aperture. Around the back is a QUAD-camera setup, which lacks the telephoto camera, but the main sensor does the job perfectly.
The primary cam is a bright f/1.7 64-megapixels sensor that enables Night Vision mode. It comes with Quad Pixel technology Post binning, 1.4 µm pixels and 16MP resolution. It is supported by a 8-megapixels ultra-wide angle camera (118º).
Supporting the camera are two 2-megapixels with f/2.4 aperture as macro lens and as depth sensor that can shoots portraits shots, supports Cutout and Spot color features. The camera can records video at 1080p @ 60 fps.
It is powered by an Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 11nm Mobile Platform with eight Kryo 260 CPU cores (four based on A73, four on A53), along with an Adreno 610 GPU. It runs on Android 11 OS out of the box with the company’s skin on top.
There is either the 4GB / 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage, and it is expandable up to 512GB through a dedicated MicroSD card slot. You can still choose between single and dual-SIM (hybrid slot design) versions.
On the other hand, Motorola reduces most of the specs a little bit, the screen is the same at 6.5-inch HD+ MaxVision 20:9 aspect ratio display with 720 pixels but stuck at the traditional 60Hz refresh rate.
On the front is a smaller 8-megapixels sensor, while the back holds the same quad-camera setup, but the main sensor is the 48-megapixels camera with Samsung GM1 sensor featuring a bright f/1.7 aperture that support Night Vision mode.
It also comes with the Quad Pixel technology, LED flash, and it still records videos at 1080p @ 60 fps. The other camera lens are identical, the f/2.2 8-megapixels 118° ultra-wide-angle camera and two f/2.4 2-megapixels lens as depth and macro cameras.
It is now powered by Qualcom’s Snapdragon 460 chipset with 600MHz Adreno 610, and it is available in 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage and there is the 128GB storage option too. As expected, you can still expand the memory up to 512GB via MicroSD card slot.
