Lenovo announces three new ThinkSmart devices to improve meetings

Lenovo announced three new accessories to improve meeting spaces. The new ThinkSmart Cam, ThinkSmart Bar, and ThinkSmart Edition Tiny for Intel Unite all include several features optimized for meeting rooms. The ThinkSmart Cam and Bar will be available in January and February 2021, respectively. The ThinkSmart Edition Tiny with Intel Unite will also be available in January 2021.

Think ThinkSmart Cam is a 4K HDR camera that can be used for small and medium meeting rooms. It has AI and Smart capabilities to enhance meetings. The camera can auto-reframe, track speakers, and is whiteboard-aware. The ThinkSmart Bar is a premium soundbar with four built-in microphones. Lenovo highlights that these microphones are beamforming, so they should create immersive meeting room audio.

You can connect to the device wirelessly from smartphones, tablets, and laptops. The Intel Unite app works with major platforms, including Skype for Business, Zoom, and WebEx.
