League of Legends doesn’t launch after Champion Select [SOLVED]

1. Reset the Network Adapter

  1. Press Windows Key + R to open the Run Dialog box.
  2. Type cmd and press OK to open the Command Prompt.

  5. Close the Settings window and launch League of Legends.
  6. Select Champion Select and check if the game launched without any issues.
  7. If the issue persists, try to turn off any other firewall that is enabled on your system.

4. Disable IPv6

  1. Go to Microsoft’s website for configuring IPv6 and its components.
  2. Click on the Download button for Disable Ipv6 on non-tunnel interfaces (except the loopback) and on the IPv6 tunnel interfaces.
  3. Run the MicrosoftEasyFix20170.mini.diagcab file.
  4. Click on the Next button when the EasyRepair window appears.
  5. The tool will disable IPv6 component on your system.

5. Change DNS Server

  1. Press Windows Key + R to open Run.

  7. Select Use the following DNS server addresses option.
  8. In the DNS server field enter the following digits:
    Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8

  9. Click OK to save the changes.
  10. Close the Control Panel windows.
  11. Now try to launch League of Legends and check for any improvements.
