As we near the end of December (and 2020 in general), Microsoft has revealed the upcoming Xbox Games with Gold for January, four games that will be offered for free to Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. All four games will be compatible with the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One family of consoles, and will start to be available for subscribers to redeem in January. The games are worth a combined $79.96 in value and 3,000 in Gamerscore.
The four games that are on offer with January’s Xbox Games with Gold include Little Nightmares, Dead Rising, The King of Fighters XIII, and Breakdown. Little Nightmares will become available starting January 1, 2020 and until January 31, while the King of Fighters XIII will be available from January 1 to January 15. Dead Rising will become available starting January 16 and until February 15, while Breakdown will only be available from January 16 to January 31.
Any Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to claim these games and add them to their library.
The best way to get Xbox Live Gold is absolutely through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. For just a little bit more than a base Xbox Live Gold subscription, you gain access to hundreds of games through Xbox Game Pass, Xbox gaming on your phone through Xbox Cloud Gaming (Project xCloud), exclusive in-game perks and offers, and you still get to claim you four free games every single month.
With the amount of money you save on games by subscribing to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you’ll have enough to invest in one of the Best Headsets for Xbox Series X|S to level-up your audio experience and become more immersed in your games.
