FIX: Internet Explorer 11 Crashes in Windows 10

2. Reset IE

  1. Open Internet Explorer 11.
  2. Click on Tools option.
  3. Select Internet Options.
  4. Go to the Advanced tab.
  5. Click left on the Reset button.

  8. Restart the Internet Explorer 11.
  9. Restart your Windows 10 PC.
  10. See if the Internet Explorer 11 still crashes.

3. Use software rendering

  1. Open Internet Explorer 11.
  2. Go to the Tools menu.
  3. Left-click Internet Options.
  4. Click left on the Advanced tab.
  5. Left-click on the Settings feature.

4. Check your add-ons

  1. Press  Windows key + R.
  2. In the run type iexplore.exe –extoff.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. If your Internet Explorer 11 is working properly now then one of your add-ons is causing this issue.

Note: You can open your add-ons by going to the Tools menu and clicking left-click the Manage Add-ons topic. From there you can disable them and see if the issue persists.
