Doom Eternal The Ancient Gods: Part Two is the final DLC expansion for id Software’s Doom Eternal and it’s available tomorrow. Ahead of this release, Bethesda has shared a full trailer, promising an epic showdown with the forces of Hell. You can take a look at the trailer on YouTube.
This DLC is being described as the “epic conclusion” to the current Doom story. Doom Eternal and this upcoming DLC are both available on Xbox One, PC, PS4 and Stadia. id Software previously stated that Xbox Series X and PS5 upgrades would be coming sometime after launch but there’s been no update on this so far, so hopefully we learn more on that front soon.
id Software is part of Bethesda Softworks, a publisher under ZeniMax Media that was acquired by Microsoft. As a result, id Software is now a first-party Xbox developer, meaning that per Head of Xbox Phil Spencer’s recent comments, future id Software games will only ship on platforms where Xbox Game Pass is available.
