Trying not to go over your mobile data limit is a never-ending battle. Sometimes, no matter how careful you try to be, you just can’t make it last longer. You could turn off the mobile data, but that wouldn’t last very long. It looks like the only way to stay within the mobile data boundaries is to set a limit.
How to Set a Mobile Data Limit with No Third-Party Apps
When it comes to controlling your mobile data, there are various apps you can choose from. If the last thing you want to do is install yet another app on your Android device, keep reading how you can use your device’s settings to set a mobile data limit. To get started, go to:
- Network & Internet
- Mobile Network
- Data warning and limit
Here you’ll see useful options such as the option to get:
- A data warning
- Usage cycle reset data.
- Set data limit
Toggle on the Set data limit option and type in what the limit needs to be.
How to View Data Usage for Current Month
You tried to save as much mobile data on Spotify, but you still want to take a look at how much you’ve used so far. To view your data usage go to:
- Network & Internet
- Mobile network
- App data usage
Towards the bottom, you’ll a list of all your installed apps and how much data they use. The first one on the list will be the one that uses the most mobile data. By tapping on the app, you’ll gain access to more options such as unrestricted data usage. There could be an app that has this permission enabled but is just consuming too much. You can toggle it off here if that’s what you want to do.
