AMD’s Radeon RX 6900 XT is available for order starting today. The beastly GPU is the top of the line when it comes to graphical performance from AMD. The RX 6900 XT is the final of the initial three 6000-series GPUs from AMD, and the company saved the best for last.
The Radeon RX 6900 XT supports Rage Mode and Smart Access Memory. At 4K with maxed settings, the RX 6900 XT beat out the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090’s frame rates in 6 out of 10 games tested. Even when it fell short of the RTX 3090, the frame rates were close.
The RX 6900 XT has a 300W TDP and costs $500 less than the RTX 3090, which makes it incredibly alluring to many PC gamers, especially those who aren’t loyal to a specific company from generation to generation.
The only bad news about the RX 6900 XT is that, like its less powerful siblings, it’s going to be hard to find. By the time you read this, its stock might already be gone. If you’re on the hunt for the RX 6900 XT, make sure to check out our post on where to buy the latest AMD Radeon graphics cards.
