Doom Eternal first released back in March 2020, with a campaign we found to be exhilarating and frenetic. Two DLC packs were announced for Doom Eternal, split up into The Ancient Gods Part One and Part Two. While Part One released back in October 2020, the developers at id Software have shared a tease of when we’ll learn what’s next, alongside some intriguing artwork.

The first teaser trailer for Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part 2 is coming on March 15. The artwork accompanying this announcement seems to indicate players will be taking part in a massive battle, perhaps finally getting to use the gigantic mech suits seen throughout the game.

id Software and Bethesda Softworks previously confirmed that free upgrades were coming for a couple of titles including Doom Eternal, so hopefully this DLC will come alongside improvements for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PS5 owners.

id Software, alongside the other studios at Bethesda Softworks, is set to become Xbox first-party at some point in the coming months, as Microsoft is continuing to finalize its acquisition of ZeniMax Media.

If you haven’t tried Doom Eternal yet, it’s currently available with Xbox Game Pass, so anyone subscribed to the service can try it out and get a discount on any DLC, including the upcoming Part Two.
